Recently EIMA, the International Exhibition of Agricultural and Gardening Machinery and one of the most important fairs in the agricultural sector, has come to an end.
During the event, the company previewed the THA 3.6, THA 4.8, and THA 5.10 models. They are rugged machines equipped with leading-edge technologies, developed to simplify work on the farm and guarantee the highest performance.
Explore the models tailored to the industry’s needs
The THA 3.6 model with lifting capacity up to 3,000 kg, is ideal for routine jobs requiring agility and flexibility, such as work in cow and poultry sheds and plant nurseries. The THA 3.6 is fitted with a Deutz TCD 2.9 L4 Stage V engine providing 55.4 kW (75.3 hp) at 2,600 rpm, with hydrostatic transmission and a hydraulic system with pressure of 255 bar and a flow rate of 87 l/min, making it a simple, reliable machine. With a compact structure (4.99 metres long and 1.81 metres wide) and unladen weight of 5,000 kg, the THA 3.6 is the perfect partner for complex farming environments and also has a top speed of 35 km/h.
For anyone requiring higher capacities and performance, the THA 4.8 provides lifting capacity of 4,000 kg and a maximum height of 7.7 metres. Equipped with an FPT N45 Stage V engine of 125 kW (170 hp), hydrostatic transmission and an electronically controlled load sensing hydraulic system of 350 bar with flow rate of 165 l/min, it delivers outstanding performance even when heavily laden and permits simultaneous travel and boom movement. With a top speed of 40 km/h, it is agile on even the harshest terrains while always ensuring the highest level of operator comfort thanks to the suspended cab, available as standard on the THA range from 4 tonnes load capacity.
Last but not least, the flagship: the THA 5.10, able to achieve a lifting height of 10 metres, a reach of 6.2 metres and a maximum load capacity of 5,000 kg and fitted with high-performing FPT engine and the same hydraulic system as the THA 4.8. With a top speed of 50 km/h, it is perfect for anyone needing to travel longer distances on-road while also still ensuring unrivalled performance, even on very uneven terrain.
THA range: unbeatable performance and ease of use.
Starting from the 4 tonne models, the THA range offers leading-edge solutions for anyone in search of performance and comfort. The cab suspension, high-visibility LED lights, automatic attachment recognition system and specific software functions for various working phases make operations smoother and adapt quickly to each day’s demands.
Although the same size as the THA 4.8 and THA 4.10 models, the THA 5.8 and THA 5.10 models feature ground-breaking technologies that maximise traction, thanks to the continuously variable transmission (CVT), for optimal control on any surface and a top speed up to 50 km/h.
What’s more, the hydropneumatic axle suspension guarantees rigidity together with adaptability to uneven terrain, increasing driver comfort also by reducing oscillation.
Additional functions such as boom sideshift (+/- 4.5°) and levelling of the machine on the horizontal plane (+/- 7°) improve precision and stability during the lifting and positioning of loads.
Innovative software for optimal control of activities from the cab
As on all other Magni brand telescopic handlers, the MCTS (Magni Combi Touch System) interface simplifies control of THA range machines, with added specific functions for the farming sector. These include the up-down function to keep the attachment vertical at all times and the boom memory position for rapid return to the preset working height and tilt, speeding up repetitive procedures. A bucket shake function is also provided to detach material during unloading and empty the attachment more quickly.
With these new telescopic handlers, the Castelfranco Emilia company confirms its ongoing commitment to innovation and safety, by offering solutions that radically improve work on the farm. Power, precision and comfort combine in the THA series products, ready to support modern farming with the quality and reliability shared by all Magni products, ever since the company’s foundation in 2013.
